Exciting things coming up in Iceland: e.g. a new choral piece commission from the amazing Schola Cantorum, two new art songs premiered by the wonderful Rannveig Kara soprano as part of Opera days festival in Reykjavik, and more.
I will be writing the new piece for Schola Cantorum this autumn 2024, and the group will premiere the piece sometime 2025-6. Time and location to be announced later.
