  • History of opera, opera composition and analysis.

  • History of music in Iceland:

    • Including Icelandic folk music, the dawn of classical music in Iceland 1880-1950, „Í álögum“ (Bewitched) the first Icelandic operetta from 1944, composer Jón Leifs, Icelandic opera history, and more.

  • History of 20th and 21st century music in Europe and USA.

  • Improvisation and/in classical music.

  • Open music and musical mobiles.

  • Music for choirs: composition, analysis, performance, interpretation.

  • Music for voice: composition, analysis, performance, interpretation.
