For the past three weeks I have been teaching the four week course “Vocal & Composer Collaboration” / “Samstarf og verklag söngvara og tónskálda” which I have developed at the Iceland University of the Arts. The thirteen participants have been developing their original works collaboratively over the last four weeks i.a. in the form of presentations, group discussion and workshops where we i.e. study the creative processes of both singers and composers. This Thursday, 10th February 2022, the seven singer-composer pairs of the course, BA and MA vocalists and composers, will premiere their new miniature works for voice and accompaniment.
It has been great fun working with them! This is the fourth time I am a guest-lecturer at the IUA.
