The opera was premiered in Salurinn Hall, Kópavogur, Iceland in 2007. It was commissioned and premiered by the Opera Department at the Reykjavík Academy of Singing (Óperudeild Söngskólans í Reykjavík). The composition was funded by the Arts Council of Kópavogur town (Lista- og menningarráð Kópavogsbæjar). Conductor was Garðar Cortes.
