This comes a bit late, but I am honoured that exceptional cellist Clare O'Connell has yet again performed my piece "Loftkastali" (Castle in Air) in the UK. She, along with viol de gamba extraordinaire Liam Byrne, had a gig at Servant Jazz Quartets London last Monday (see link below). I wish I could have been there, but knowing Clare and Liam I am certain it was a smashing success. Clare just sent me this recording from 2015 (see below) which is full of moving emotion and energy. The piece is very tricky to play, full of challenging and ever changing techniques, but she makes it sound easy! Bravo!
