My piece DRÁPA for reciter, flute, electronics, marimba and cello received its Denmark premiere last 12th and 13th October (two performances) in Møn island, Denmark. Around 200 people attended the performances over the weekend in the beautiful Fanefjord Skovpavillion restaurant and venue. Performers were Gerður Kristný as the reciter, Helen Whitaker on flute, myself on electronics, Adam Bushell on marimba and Sarah Davison on cello.
The music was well received by audiences and media alike. The Sjællandske newspaper said that literature and music had „melted together“, which is great news since such merging is one of my big goals and passions as a composer.
